Walk for Health in Basing Wood
Starts this year on January 19th. Make new friends, improve your fitness and enjoy your local area.
Join Forestry Commission leaders for a walk of about an hour (1-2 miles) at 11.30am on Tuesday mornings in Basing Wood.
Meet at the entrance to the wood behind Popley Fields Community Centre, Carpenters Down, Popley, Basingstoke, RG24 9AE.
Free parking and toilets available.
Dress for the weather, wearing outdoor clothing and footwear - it may be muddy!
IT'S FREE - there is no charge to come along.

'Walking the Way to Health' has come to Kingsclere. Join Jean for a stroll of about an hour in Kingsclere and the surrounding areas at 10.30am on certain Wednesdays.
Future dates are:
January 6th, February 3rd, March 3rd and April 7th.
Meet in the square just before 10.30am, allowing time to register.
Wear clothes and shoes suitable for the weather.
There is no charge to come along and all are welcome.
The next Wednesday evening walk is on February 10th at 6.45pm for 7.00pm,
Meet in the Argos car park at Hatchwarren, postcode RG22 4TT.

Alresford and Abbotstone Down, approximately 5.75 miles.
Fairly easy going with good tracks, views and river walk.
Bring a packed lunch.
Strong footwear advised.
Tea rooms at end of walk optional.
